Bags of colour

I need some colour today after yesterday’s soft neutrals, plus it’s grey and wintry here at the moment and I’m dreaming of being somewhere brighter. So here’s some more inspiration from Chefchaouen, the blue Moroccan city.

These sacks were lined up outside a shop in the medina. I think they’re powdered paints (rather than dyes), but I’m not totally sure. Beautiful!

If you could travel anywhere in the world today, where would you go?

If I could travel anywhere in the world today I’d go to Rajasthan, to somewhere really sacred and aesthetically incredible, serene, awe-inspiring and overwhelming…maybe the desert!

Yes please! I have a hankering for Rajasthan too, at the moment. Such an amazing part of the world.
